DH-005: Trade Finance Asst. Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and budgeting, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, align it with trade finance programme.
  • Assist with the execution of foreign exchange transactions to optimize currency exposure.
  • Analyse financial instruments and participate in the development of treasury strategies (may work with senior colleagues for complex strategies).
  • Develop a strong relationship with banks, lenders, and JV partners and ensure financial contracts are up-to-date and all financial obligations are met.
  • Process a variety of trade finance transactions adhering to strict regulations and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with trade finance regulations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g., sales, procurement, logistics) to ensure all aspects of a trade finance transaction are met, and external parties (banks, suppliers, customers) to facilitate and provide updates on the status of their trade transactions.
  • Assist with the mitigation of trade-related risks and monitor trade finance transactions to ensure they are completed within deadlines and according to risk management protocols.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on treasury and trade finance activities.
  • Stay up to date on relevant industry regulations and best practices.
  • Perform ad-hoc treasury and trade finance tasks as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management administration, economy, finance, accounting or a related field, MBA preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Corporate Treasury, preferably at a multinational company and/or 3 years as Trade Finance in Banking.
  • Familiar with feed industry, livestock, and fisheries is an advantage
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of cash management,
  • Experience in international trade (optional but valuable).
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of financial principles and statements.
  • Familiar with investments, funds, and financial transactions
  • A good understanding of derivatives and business controller KPIs
  • Fluently in English
  • Ability to build relationship with bank, customer and suppliers
  • Willing to work in Kuningan, South Jakarta
