Purchasing Surveyor (Plant Kalimantan)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, market surveying, supplier sourcing, or a related field.
• Experience in agribusiness, livestock, feed mill, food processing, or manufacturing industries would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, compare, and evaluate market prices and supplier information.
• Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Willing to conduct regular field visits and travel to supplier locations as required.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, honest, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Possess a valid driver's license (SIM A and/or SIM C) and be willing to travel for field assignments.
• Able to prepare clear and accurate survey reports and provide data-driven recommendations.
• The position will be based in Kalimantan.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct field surveys to identify and evaluate potential suppliers of raw materials.
• Collect and analyze market prices, product quality, and material availability.
• Compare prices and suppliers to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Verify supplier information, product specifications, and delivery capabilities.
• Monitor market price fluctuations and report findings to the Purchasing team.
• Visit suppliers and sourcing locations to assess material availability.
• Coordinate with related departments to ensure materials meet company requirements.
• Prepare survey reports and supplier evaluation summaries.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and comply with company policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve sourcing efficiency and reduce procurement costs.
